THEORETICAL Medical Differential Equations
Formula: “The Modeling Differential Equations: (P)' = ~S. A derivative of philosophy is approximately science. (S)' = ~E. A derivative of science is approximately engineering” (Ohnemus 2023).
Philosophy/Classics/Tradition: “Scientism is Faith Theorem (group theory) Given that the roots are humanism (faith that humans are ethical despite being the most unethical species), induction (faith that because x is the case in particular situations then x is always the case), and credentialism (OFTEN trusting in intellectuals whose end products are ideas thus without direct enough consequences to encourage improvement)”(Ohnemus 2023).“Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is my guide post for needs. Subjective experiences can be described objectively thus fortifying negative utilitarianism (reducing suffering as much as possible). Also, civilization is created through tradition, risk analysis and skin in the game. And morality is dictated by empathy, symmetry and common sense (survival instincts from the false dichotomy of evolution and creation which is possibly information theory)” (Ohnemus 2024)
“...basic physiological requirements to love, esteem, and, finally, self-actualization” (Britannica 2024)
Science/Risk Analysis: “...observing, asking questions, and seeking answers through tests and experiments...” (Britannica 2024). “...assurance of safety and that when there are threats of serious damage, scientific uncertainty must be resolved in favor of prevention” (Goldstein 2001).
Engineering/Skin in the Game: “1. Determine your probabilities. Based on the patient’s symptoms, history, etc., what is the likelihood of a particular diagnosis? For example, if a patient presents with a fever, productive cough, and decreased appetite, your initial hypothesis might be pneumonia, bronchitis, or an upper respiratory infection.2. Gather data by further evaluating the patient. This usually requires additional history, vital signs, and a physical exam, which will help you confirm or reject your hypothesis.3. Update your probabilities based on the data you’ve gathered. This includes the pre-test probability of any test you may want to order. Then, carefully collect and interpret additional data from diagnostic tests. The most probable diagnosis should begin to emerge at the top of your differential diagnosis list.4. Consider an intervention to see whether it crosses your treatment threshold. The larger the therapeutic benefit is relative to the potential harm, the lower the threshold. If you don't have enough information to convince yourself to cross the threshold, consider other options, which may include gathering additional data or watchful waiting” (FPM 2018).
