Dear Objectivists (Letter from a Lib),

We both mean well. OF COURSE, we disagree on a lot. But many of you would rather live under progressivism than conservatism. We may have more in common than meets the eye, such as anti-conservatism, anti-authoritarianism, individuality, disdain for Platonism, general dislike of dogma, similar epistemology and skepticism of platitudes. Objectivism is NON-racist; I am ANTI racist. Plus, politically, our common opponent is conservatism. We both strive to affirm life, whereas many forms of conservatism favor death.

(Race Relations)

Objectivism: Fixation on race is bad.

Me: People WILL note race so, DEI is best.

(Metaphysics)

Objectivism: Reality.

Me: Reality.

(Epistemology)

Objectivism: Empiricism with inductive reasoning.

Me: Critical rationalism.

(Ethics)

Objectivism: LONG term self interest
Me: ANTIracism, Critical Race Theory, and Negative utilitarianism (minimize suffering).

(Politics)

Objectivism: liberalism(classic).

Me: liberalism(modern).

(Economics)

Objectivism: capitalism

Me: mixed economy

(Immigration)

Objectivism: pro
